An Anti-Itch medication ( Neropahy/Diabetis). I filled out an order for the trial size and tried to log out. I was logged on to another sales order page. After many attempts to log out, I shut off my computer. I got a call from a Service REP who assured me my trial order had been cancelled. I then got ten unordered bottles.

Resolved: Shield4u Security Security System Review from London, London

Shield4u are a unscrupulous company that do not honour their warranty or give truthful information about their systems reliablility ! The battery life of the alarm sensors is 2 months maximum, unless the 12 sensors I received are all faulty, which I doubt very much, I specifically asked about the battery life before I made a purchase and shield4u told me 12 months plus battery life was normal ! To rule out high use battery drain, I can say over 80% of the doors and windows on the 2 systems I have fitted are never used, but still the batteries in those sensors would fail prematurely. I raised this issue with them, only to be told I could purchase from them additional sensors that have an extended battery life !!! They refused to replace or refund my faulty sensors, rendering their warranty worthless ! I now intend to contact trading standards as the battery life of a wireless alarm system is critical to it's reliable function and lying to customers to achieve sales is very unprofessional, avoid this company at all costs ! they also trade as shield2u

Another VAT dodging outfit

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Company claim they are a sole trader so not VAT registered, yet they have revenues from eBay alone of over £200,000 in the last 12 months? Doesn't make any sense to me. Judging by the other comments on here they have been at it for a while. As a business owner myself, who does pay VAT, I now refuse to deal with these cheats. Sent my full alarm back for a refund. Wasn't even impressed with the alarm kit, looks cheap and nasty to be honest, certainly wouldn't trust it to protect my property, will look at Yale or Freidland instead. AVOID.

No VAT invoice

Asked for a VAT invoice and was told they are not vat registered...How can this be as they sell around 500 house alarms a month and are well over the VAT threshold....HMRC need to know about this and eBay should pull them for fraud, how can this be allowed to go on while others are paying their dues and acting correctly. It makes me sick to see this still going on and for how long....They have had an eBay account for years...How much VAT have they avoided paying while the other have all had to pay VAT. No doubt they are not declaring the correct duty and costs either

VAT Cheat

I purchased an alarm from them and when I asked for a VAT invoice the informed me that they are not VAT registered. This company has revenue in excess of £500,000 each year (this information is accurate and can be pulled from an ebay tool) This makes them an massive VAT cheat. I believe the company to be one of the many chinese companies selling on ebay as they have no phone number to call them on and when I googled their address it seems to be some sort of virtual address. All in all they are a dishonest bunch of tax cheats ripping off us brits.

SHIELD4U ALARM SYSTEMS IN BASINGSTOKE HANTS UK

I bought a house alarm system from this firm and have nothing but problems with it, i bought new PIR'S and new key fobs from them as i thought this may have been the problem, Only to find out the host is faulty, i have tried to contact the firm numerous times to ask for a replacement host and even offered to return the faulty one. Guess what!!! the firm are now refusing to answer my emails or have any kind of contact back with me, also i bought this on Ebay i believe Ebay are going to make a note on their account for future. Anyone need an alarm system dont buy from this firm they will not help to resolve problems and you will not get a refund of any kind, I would advise you to not leave feedback until you have had the alarm system installed for a few month's, once they have your good feedback they will not care if you have any problems with the system. Also they charge extorionate delivery charges if you need to buy new key fobs or PIR's, they say we will send you new parts as long as you pay for the postage!! postage for a key fob £6.50 to an address in the UK joke your actually paying for the item as well, every time i needed to buy new parts the delivery cost was more expensive than the last item. People please be aware do NOT buy from this firm.

No After Sales Service

I bought an Alarm system from Shiels4u in November 2013 and had problems after about three months with batteries running out, and general poor functioning of the system. I purchased new Duracel batteries but these also did not last very long. Finally the outside siren faild and when I contacted them they stated that as the system was purchased over 6 months ago they would only deal with the problem if I returned the units not working. When asked for a return address they have completely ignored me . after some 5 messages through eBay, still no answers. Have taken up the matter with my credit card company under the consumers credit act 1974 under section 75. They are currently dealing with this.
